Research mobility support (RMS)

This instrument supports researchers from EURAMET metrological institutes to join an organisation in a different country to their employer (an EURAMET NMI, DI or other institution that can host suitable research) for between one to nine months, in order to perform research in the selected field.
The grant funds travel, subsistence, and other allowances, but not the salary of the researcher. The salary of the researcher must continue to be paid by the Employing Organisation.

Eligibility criteria

The admissibility and eligibility criteria are the minimum conditions that an application must fulfil if it is to be evaluated. Where eligibility is not met, the application will be rejected, and the proposers informed.

Applicants (Employing Organisation): EURAMET NMIs and DIs and NMIs and DIs from EU member states and countries associated to Horizon Europe.

Researchers: Staff members of the above Employing Organisations. Fluency in English is required. The researchers should be employed by their current Employing Organisation for the grant’s duration. Should an RMS be attached to a Partnership JRP, the researcher should attend at least one JRP project meeting (as long as it is within the RMS duration).
